Open Science
Life Sciences in Dialogue
The goal of Open Science is to promote and foster dialogue between science and the public.
The non-profit scientific association works closely with experts to make life sciences visible, tangible, and understandable. Currently, ten Austrian scientific societies are members. Open Science draws on many years of experience and expertise in science communication when working on projects with a variety of target groups.
The association operates independently and is committed to scientific integrity. Open Science does not represent any particular opinion on the applications of molecular biotechnology.
Open Science also runs the Vienna Open Lab (a joint initiative of Open Science and IMBA) and is publicly financed.
